Walla Walla University is committed to educational access and inclusivity for all 学生s. In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the American with Disabilities Act and subsequent updates to that legislation, WWU ensures that all programs and services provided by the college are accessible and offered to all of our 学生s. To receive assistance, you must have diagnostic documentation according to documentation guidelines. This documentation should explain the nature and extent of your disability, and may include professional recommendations for support services.
A 学生 with a disability is a person who qualifies for an accommodation under section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and/or the Americans with Disabilities Act. Disabilities include (but are not limited to):
- Physical Disabilities, such as sensory disabilities (hearing, sight, etc.)
- Medical Disabilities, such as cystic fibrosis, fibromyalgia, or diabetes
- Psychological disabilities, such as depression, bipolar or obsessive-compulsive disorder
- Learning disabilities, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder
适应 for 学生
The 适应 portal allows 学生s 24/7 access to all of their disability-related information, including approved accommodations, 挂起的请求, 住宿信, 与发展支援署的预约, scheduled exam proctoring, 上传文档, 和更多的.

Incoming freshman or transfer 学生s, or 学生s who have not had accommodations in the past, will be able to log onto 适应 with their WWU email address to request accommodations.
Returning 学生s who have received accommodations in the past (referred to as legacy users) will also be able to log onto the 适应 portal to view existing accommodations and renew documentation if needed.
适应 for 教师 & 工作人员
The 教师 portal will allow WWU instructors to access accommodation information for 学生s in their courses each quarter. 除了, faculty will be able to use 适应 to view 住宿信, and submit testing materials starting September 26th.
